Pop Pop Is Here!

Dad came into town on Cinco de Mayo and started off his visit with a bash! Yummy mexican food and birthday cake! (This time, we wouldn't take his Spice Cake request.)

We've had yucky weather his entire visit, which has limited our 'productivity'...

Which we decided is A-OK! This was his first visit without Mom since he retired (and we hope not the last!!...well, not last visit, but we want Mom to come too!). He was able to unwind a bit and realize that retirement means not having to commit to many tasks every day.

He had goals to paint our fence, help dig up plants, and more outdoor activities, but since the weather dictated indoor events, we played with kids, checked the stock market & kept it simple inside.
