Grandpa Tom came to visit this past weekend! After he was also put to work (as it seems all of our visitors are), we took him to the Oktoberfest party to enjoy some good ol' German beer. He & N8 replaced the 3 trees that died (boooo) and put the rest of our gravel underneath the fence (that gravel was sitting in our driveway for MONTHS! I am certain our neighbors are happy!). Sunday was spent recovering from Oktoberfest (perhaps best to say N8 recovering, Grandpa & I seemed fine) on a cloudy & rainy day.
