4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July with a party in our front yard with the neighbors. We planned for a late night party because it's been just too hot! That plan sort of backfired when it started raining...but our new trusty tent worked as great protection against the ridiculous downpour.

Fireworks...indoors...on tv!!!

For some reason, each of the kids had a paper plate they were all playing with when they came inside to watch the fireworks. It's the simple things in life!
This party blows.
We're strapped in with everyone walking & talking around us.

Come home from vacation.

Mommy & Daddy take away pacifier and remove my crib railing.

And all I get is this small tractor.

I was banking on a much larger one when they mentioned the bribe.

It works for now.

(Eri slept with it next to his bed for a week. He stopped asking for his pacifier within the week...yipee!)

When we came home from the beach, we had a whole bunch of veggies! The cucumbers are delicious. We keep making cucumber salads in apple cider vinegar & olive oil.
