Two Is Cool

Eri is now two years old! And boy did he prove it. After dinner, we had cupcakes on his birthday (and we had cake at his birthday party the next day), and he opened his birthday gifts. We then rushed to put him to bed so we could clean and prepare for his birthday party. And a note for future reference: allow sufficient time to play with new toys before forcing birthday kid to bed. It was a "hack" (as far as two-year-old-tantrums go) as N8 referred to it, as he immediately flipped out after being told it was bedtime.

Dad says, "Eri, today you are two! Blow out the candles!"

Eri says, "Uh, what IS THIS?!?"

And closer...and closer...yes, it is seconds after this point that Eri no longer wants anything to do with the birthday cupcake or candles...N8 proceeds to assist with blowing out candles.
Apparently this is how we eat cupcakes.
Eri isn't diggin' the cake, so he tries to pass it off to Tucker. We need to introduce this kid to some more sweets...he's proving to be a big time wimp when it comes to some seriously yummy junkfood.
