The Meeting of the Boys

This is the first grouping of photos of our roadtrip to Ohio. I have over 1,000 photos to look over to see which to add, and it appears that I have minimal space left on the blog for photos! How sad is this?!?! I either have to decide to pay for more storage to keep this site, create a new one, or who knows what. I'm sure there will be quite a few postings from our visit, updating off & on.

This is our trip to Indianapolis to FINALLY visit with Rich & Steph & to meet Andrew. We've known Rich for about 10 years now (yikes!) and it is so funny that we finally get together and we're with kids! Drew is one cute little guy. He's quiet and soft-spoken but very friendly. We visited with them 3 weekends in a row (driving to Ohio, at the auction, and then driving back to TX) so it was nice to see that Drew warmed up to us. Eri and Drew played well together, except for the many times Eri would just take Drew's toy...it's hard to teach a toddler manners.

They made life extremely easy for us! They had a baby swing, tons and tons of toys, 2 pack-n-plays and a toddler who was willing to play with Eri.

We're soooo happy that Rich & Steph live en route to N8's family in Ohio. We miss seeing them as often as we did in our college days.

Chef Rich

Rich makes dinner every night. They have a weekly calendar on their fridge of the meals of the week (I LOVE this idea, so you can really be smart with grocery shopping!). He served us yummy steaks with the BEST corn on the cob & garlic mashed potatoes. We can't wait for them to visit us in TX!

These 2 were a riot together. This house is WAY fun. Ice cream cones!
