Yesterday, we started the Easter cooking with the Polish tradition of Krushchieki (spelling could be off), but in simplier terms, Easter Bowties (fried dough, covered in powdered sugar...a tradition ALL over the world). We started the process of dying Easter eggs, but only got to the hard-boiling part, as we were all exhausted by 9pm last night.
Today we finished the cooking with the Italian tradition of Easter pizza (a cheese, egg and sausage like calzone). This is our first year on making this family recipe, so we'll see how it turns out. N8 started the ham and mashed potatoes, and we'll have our Easter dinner in an hour or two.
I think we'll be ready for some real substance as we're sugared out on See's Candy (THANK YOU, GENA!) and the Bowties.
Eri spots the tractor across the street.
Would that be the same look? They did that unintentionally.

We love the outfit Eri! Gus thinks you look very handsome. We can't believe that it's been a year since last Easter.
